Our department soundly supports undergraduate education in pathology, microbiology, immunology, and other medical sciences on the UNMC campus. Our faculty are actively involved in teaching medical, pharmacy, and allied health students. We provide opportunities for students to encounter pathologists in both the classroom and laboratory, elevating their active learning and understanding of pathology. Students can participate in our department’s programs and activities such as phase 3 elective rotations, pathology student interest group, summer undergraduate research program (SURP), as well as teaching conferences and seminars.
